Our antique Victorian ring is set in 9ct gold with a beautiful central ruby, two garnets and pearls. The gemstones and pearls are set in a star celestial gypsy setting.
The Victorian used stars and moons to be the subject of many objet d'art from jewellery to glass wear. Stars symbolised "spirit, guidance and direction" for its wearer.
The ring has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was made in 1881 in Birmingham, England.
